The Tirupati Ruia hospital bore witness to a great tragedy today when, unfortunately, 10 people passed away today, due to a disruption in the oxygen supply. The supply of oxygen in the covid essential division was disrupted, which killed these 10 individuals, who were in a serious condition already.
Another 13 are in critical condition. Six people were killed in the MM 1,2,3 ward of the hospital. Three people were killed in the ICU and one in the MM 4,5,6 ward of the hospital.
When the oxygen filling was done, the compressor decreased and the supply was disrupted, due to which these patients lost their lives. Even after the oxygen supply was back to normal, the situation of the patients did not improve.
As a result, the hospital saw severe agitations taken up by the relatives of the patients. Items in the ICU were smashed, and the nurses in the hospital rushed out with this tension.
At a time when people are already suffering from the lack of beds and proper oxygen supply in the state of Andhra Pradesh, a tragedy like this in Tirupati is indeed a saddening matter.
