In the wake of the Coronavirus pandemic, all the countries are under a shut down. Even in India, many States have voluntarily announced shut down without any force from the Central Government.
All pilgrimages and entertainment places are closed for an indefinite date. The Tirumala temple, which is always full with pilgrims from all over the Country is now empty.
The days where how much of a footfall is there is reported from hour to hour basis in Tirumala visit for LIVE updates, now it has zero visitors.
As it is a temple which is treated with utmost sentiment from crores of people, the main sevas for the Lord are not stopped. The puja and other daily rituals that are offered for the Temple are as usual.
Only the TTD officials are allowed to visit these sevas if they wish to. Even the dormitories and the guest houses which are always jam packed are also empty and abandoned.
All the TTD officials have stationed in the Annamayya Bhavan. Vehicles from outside into Tirumala hill are not allowed unless they are TTD officials.
