Young actor Siddhu Jonnalagadda is enjoying immense success with his recent film, DJ Tillu. The movie which was released last weekend smashed the box office and collected an impressive ₹45 crores in just two days. This is the highest collection in Siddhu’s career making him one of the rising stars of Tollywood.
Few days ago, rumors circulated that Siddhu rejected a role in a film starring the megastar Chiranjeevi. During a recent promotional interview, he expressed deep respect for Chiranjeevi, considering him a “superhuman” and a prominent figure in Telugu cinema.
Although Siddhu missed out on the opportunity for undisclosed reasons, he still hopes to collaborate with Chiranjeevi and said that any project with the megastar would be a good milestone in his career.
In the past, when Chiranjeevi considered remaking the Malayalam film Bro Daddy in which Siddhu was initially considered for the role of the son. However, Chiranjeevi himself eventually abandoned the idea of the remake.
On the other hand, Chiranjeevi watched the film and invited the movie team to his house and appreciated them.
