“Tillu Square,” featuring Siddhu Jonnalagadda and Anupama Parameswaran, had an impressive release yesterday, directed by Mallik Ram and produced by Naga Vamsi under Sithara Entertainments.
Dil Raju, who also distributed the film in the Nizam area, aims to recover losses from “Guntur Kaaram,” starring Mahesh Babu, which had a lukewarm response during the Sankranti season. Dil Raju acquired the rights for “Tillu Square” at a lower cost, anticipating its success.
The film has already collected a 3.7 crore share worldwide and is expected to break even today. It is projected to surpass 20 crores in the Nizam area alone.
With these prospects, “Tillu Square” seems poised to offset the losses incurred by “Guntur Kaaram.” The production team is optimistic, with producer Naga Vamsi even foreseeing the film reaching the 100 crore mark worldwide.
