TDP MLA Ganta Srinivasa Rao has been the kind of person who always opted to ‘go with the winner’ in his entire political career. Though he is very well known for his defections every party gleefully accepted him as he is a ‘financial commodity’. On the other side, the political philosophy of Ganta is – ‘one can serve more if he has power’ which worked very well for him.
So far, Jagan Mohan Reddy held talks with many TDP leaders but officially no one joined YSRCP. The talk is that Ganta will be the first MLA from TDP to join YSRCP officially and he even decided to resign his MLA seat which he won under TDP’s ticket. So, what made Ganta sacrifice his MLA post? What is the dire need of Ganta to join YCP all of a sudden?
It is known that YSRCP has been targeting the TDP MLAs and Ex-Ministers who committed illegal activities that led to corruption. Srinivasa Rao who did set up all his business bases in Vizag has some good contacts with the people who have been looking out the minings that are going on in Northern Andhra. The news is out that the YSRCP government started to dig into the records of the mining as most of those mining contractors belong to the caste that has been favoring TDP for decades.
So, the speculations are here that Ganta might have chosen by those biggies as a reliable option to hold talks with YSRCP being their party member. Of course, if Jagan wants to establish Vizag as the administrative capital, he will definitely need Ganta’s supports. So, the analysts opine that it all fell at one place and that is nothing but YSRCP needs to turn a blind eye on those ‘mining people’ and in return, Ganta will join YSRCP resigning his MLA post which will be a deadly blow to TDP and also aids then financially in the establishment of Vizag as AP capital.
If it is the case, what will it be called? Mutual benefit? Symbiosis? Name it as you like.
