One of the talented directors of Tollywood, Praveen Sattaru has teamed up with King Nagarjuna for his next project, which sees the ace actor playing an ex-Interpol officer role.
Titled ‘The Ghost’, the action entertainer is all set to hit the screens on October 5th, on the occasion of the Dasara festival. While the release date is approaching, the makers of the film have been intensifying the promotional activities to generate a great buzz ahead of the release.
In a recent interview with an English daily, Praveen Sattaru revealed some interesting things about ‘The Ghost’ movie. Describing the film as a stylish entertainer, the director said that the action sequences take the story forward, and he used them to change gears in the film.
Mr Sattaru also explained what was Nagarjuna’s advice to him before starting the shooting part. “Nag sir was game. He only said ‘Keep it simple, don’t make it complicated,” the director said.
Speaking about the female lead, he revealed that Kajal Aggarwal was the first choice for the role, but she had to back out after her pregnancy. Later, Sonal Chauhan came on board and she underwent rigorous training in martial arts for their respective parts.
