It is only one day after the Indian Government announced that the country remains in only stage-2 in the corona Virus spread and this morning 17 news cases have been reported in Andhra Pradesh as COVID-19 positives.
The scariest thing is, these 17 people attended a large religious event in Delhi and there are hundreds of others who visited the event along with these 17.
Going into the details, around 2,000 people have participated in the congregation of Tablighi Jamaat, a Muslim religious organization, including the Indonesian and Malaysian nationals in the Nizamuddin West area of Delhi.
The locals said that a large number of people continued to stay at the Jamaat’s ‘Markaz’ (Centre) even after this period.
Now, the question is, how many possible suspects of COVID-19 positives can we expect and how many persons they have contacted in the meantime.
Even though the other persons who participated in the congregation are identified and isolated, it is still a bigger challenge in front of the government to identify and isolated the persons who came into contact with these devotees all these days.
To send shivers into the spine, 6 people who died recently in Telangana also attended the same Delhi event. Now the Telugu States are very alarmed with this news and we don’t know what is coming for us in the future and of course one doesn’t want to about these things.
