Everyone knows Bollywood firebrand Kangana Ranaut‘s rivalry with the Maharashtra government. On Monday, the actress reacted to the news of Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh’s resignation.
Deshmukh resigned from his position hours after the Bombay High Court directed the Central Bureau of Investigation to conduct a preliminary inquiry within 15 days following the allegations made by former Mumbai Commissioner of Police Param Bir Singh.
While tweeting about the matter, Ms Ranaut recalled the incident when her office space was demolished and the Home Minister gave several statements against her in the media. She shared a post and stated that Deshmukh is now going through the consequences of insulting a woman.
“Those who lynch the Sadhus and insult women suffer a tragic downfall. Anil Deshmukh, this is just the beginning,” she wrote in her tweet.
Kangana’s statements flared up once again during the ongoing war of words between the Shiv Sena and the BJP.
जो साधुओं की हत्या और स्त्री का अपमान करे उसका पतन निश्चित है #AnilDesmukh
