Suriya-starrer “Soorarai Pottru”, directed by Sudha Kongara, earned immensely positive reviews from the audience and critics alike. The film, which was partly inspired by events from the life of Air Deccan founder Capt GR Gopinath, has brought a lot of fame to the director as well as the actor.
It is known that Sudha Kongara is also helming the Hindi adaptation of “Soorarai Pottru”. Suriya will be producing the Hindi remake under his production house, 2D Entertainment.
In a recent interview, the director spoke about the remake and also revealed some other interesting details about her next plans.
Sudha Kongara said that she has plans to work with Tollywood stars Mahesh Babu, Allu Arjun, and Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan. As we know, both Mahesh and Bunny are busy with some strong projects in their kitties, we have to wait and see if they give a chance to the Soorarai Pottru director.
Meanwhile, the makers of Soorarai Pottru Hindi remake haven’t revealed the lead actor yet. However, it is heard that actors like Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn and John Abraham were considered for the film. But no official announcement had been made.
