Ever since the sensational director Puri Jagganath and young sensation Vijay Devarakonda announced their project, expectations reached sky-high on the director-hero Jodi.
Fans are getting crazy even before the start of the regular shoot. The makers recently announced the film title as Fighter.
A source close to Puri’s direction team reveal that Vijay Devarakonda will be seen in the role of a boxer and hero’s characterisation will be very powerful and loaded with Puri mark’s sentiment and emotions.
Earlier, Puri Jagannath did similar kind of story with Mass Raja Raviteja in Amma Naanna Tamil Ammayi. The source said that Fighter will have similar sentiment and treatment.
As of now, Puri Jagannath is busy fine-tuning the script and finalizing the female leads and another cast and crew. His recent outing, iSmart Shankar became a blockbuster hit.
Meanwhile, there are many speculations that Jhanvi Kapoor might be roped in to play the female lead. Vijay Devarakonda is currently busy acting in Kranthi Madhav’s untitled film, which stars Catherin Tersa as the female lead.
Vijay Devarakonda also has Anand Annamalai directorial in his kitty. It is heard that Vijay Deverakonda is expected to join Puri Jagannadh’s film after completing these two projects on hands.
