‘The Warriorr’, starring Ram Pothineni in the lead role, was released recently, and the movie is receiving a positive response from the audience. Directed by N. Lingusamy as a Telugu-Tamil bilingual film, it marked the Tamil debut of Ram. While Krithi Shetty played the female lead, Aadhi Pinisetty is seen as the main antagonist.
As the movie is getting a decent response from the audience, the movie team organised a success meet in Hyderabad on Saturday.
Speaking at the event, Ram said, “There were many obstacles during the release of the movie. Even in hard times, our entire team stood as warriors. Before releasing the movie, I thought that taking it to theatres amid heavy rains and other problems itself is a big success. ‘The Warriorr’ has once again proved that the Telugu audience are movie lovers. We believed the audience will throng to theatres and the first day proved the same. Some audiences could not watch the movie due to the rain in some areas. I want them all to watch the movie too. As everyone thinks, I am also doing the next film for this movie producers. I learned a lot from Lingusamy. Krithi became everyone’s baby with ‘The Warrior’. Aadhi Pinisetty gave his life and made the movie.”
Director Lingusamy said, “I am very happy. This is my first Telugu film. I got a good hero like Ram, a producer like Srinivasa Chitturi, Aadi, Krithi Shetty, and good technicians. I want to do more straight Telugu movies with this energy. Thanks for your love. We are also getting a super response in Tamil Nadu.”
Krithi Shetty said, “Ram worked hard for this film. Perfection in the police role was carried well. It’s good to act with him. I can’t imagine anyone else but Aadhi Pinisetty in the role of Guru. Thanks to director Lingusamy. He gave an opportunity to act in his direction. Thanks to Pawan Kumar and Srinivasa Chitturi, who are always positive. Thanks to the audience who made our movie a hit.”
Aadhi Pinisetty said, “Thanks to all the audience. People say that ‘The Warriorr’ has everything that a purely commercial film needs. There have been positive reviews. Thanks to the audience. Thanks to our producers Pawan Kumar and Srinivasa Chitturi for giving me a chance for such a good film.”
In this success meet, producer Srinivasa Chitturi, presenters Pawan Kumar, fight master Vijay, art director D. Satyanarayana and others took part.
