The YSRCP enjoys a great majority in the state of Andhra Pradesh, with its members winning most of the assembly seats in the last general elections. With such a majority, one would expect a great deal of cooperation and harmony among its members, but that’s the exact thing that’s missing in the members of the YSRCP.
It has now come to light that there is absolutely no cooperation between the MLAs and Ministers of YSRCP, as the Ministers are paying no heed to the requests coming from the MLAs. Several MLAs are said to have been making several recommendations to the Ministers belonging to their area, but the Ministers are said to be doing nothing in that regard.
However, fact remains that even the Ministers are in a helpless position as they need approval from the Chief Minister, in order to be able to do anything. With the Ministers reportedly not being able to meet with the CM, nothing is being done.
On the other hand, Ministers who have a close relationship with the CM are able to get things done in a short period of time. With their influence, these Ministers are said to be intentionally avoiding the MLAs as they do not want any credit to go to the MLAs.
Either this way or that, it is now quite evident that the MLAs and Ministers of YSRCP do not share a good bond with the other, leading to a lot of unnecessary confusion and misunderstandings.
