The entire country erupted with American President Donald Trump’s Indian tour and Modi & co gave him a great reception for his inaugural tour to the subcontinent. It is known that trump presided over the largest stadium in the world in Ahmedabad and praised the India along with Modi.
He lauded the efforts put by Modi in the economic development of the county and stated that India is one of the influential economic nations in the world. Later he praised some famous Indian personalities, businessmen and sportsperson. Trump stated that he is impressed with Indian culture.

But, unfortunately at the time of Trump’s visit to India, the Delhi riots took place and about 30 people were killed. The leader of the democratic party in U.S.A, Antonia Sanders went down heavily on Trump for visiting the national capital under such tense situation which took place in Delhi.
The United Nations also responded to these riots and asked the government to take necessary actions to control the riots. So, Trump was forced to comment on these riots and he ended up criticizing Modi, whom he hugged tens of times in his two-day Indian two and named him as the best friend.
Trump said that the loss of lives in the Delhi riots is due to the failure of the Modi government. Indians and especially BJP supporters have no idea how to take Trump’s statement on Modi. Be it India or America, politics remain the same.
