We all know that filmmaker Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri’s highly acclaimed film ‘The Kashmir Files’ received a massive response from people all over India. After winning hearts across the world last year, the flick has now bagged four prestigious awards in different categories at Zee Cine Awards 2023. It won ‘Best Film’, ‘Best Screenplay’, ‘Best Actor’ and ‘Best Actor in Negative role’ awards.
After receiving the awards, Vivek Agnihotri dedicated them to 40-year-old Kashmiri Pandit Sanjay Sharma, who was shot dead by terrorists in Pulwama.
Taking to Twitter, the director shared a few pictures from the award ceremony, and dedicated them to the slain Kashmir Pandit. “ANNOUNCEMENT & GRATITUDE: People’s film #TheKashmirFiles won Best Film, Best Screenplay, Best Actor & Best Actor in Negative role awards at #ZeeCineAwards2023,” he captioned the post.
Starring Anupam Kher, Mithun Chakraborty, Chinmay Mandlekar, among others, The Kashmir Files’ is produced by Pallavi Joshi, in association with Zee studios.
