The Great Pre Wedding Show is a 2025 Telugu-language comedy film written and directed by Vijayendar S. The film features Thiruveer & Teena Sravya in the lead roles, with Narendra Ravi, Yamini, Master Rohan Roy, Vinay, Prabhavati, Madhavi Prasad, Jogarao, & others in supporting roles. The music is composed by Suresh Bobilli, while the film is produced by Sanddeep Agaram & Ashmita Reddy Basani under 7 PM Productions & Puppet Show Productions banners.

Story:

Ramesh (Thiruveer) is a small-time photographer who runs a photo studio in his small village near Srikakulam along with his assistant Ram (Rohan). He mostly covers all the local functions and also does pre-wedding shoots for his village people. On the other hand, he also secretly loves Hema (Teena Sravya), the Panchayat officer, who also has feelings for him but keeps them to herself.

One day, Anand (Narendra Ravi), a local politician, approaches Ramesh to shoot his pre-wedding video with his fiancée, Soundarya (Yamini). Ramesh, along with the couple, completes shooting the video, but chaos unfolds when the memory chip with all the footage suddenly goes missing. What happens later? Needs to be seen in the film.

What about on-screen performances?

Thiruveer is excellent as the humble, good-hearted village photographer. He plays the role naturally, without overacting, which makes him very believable. His simple and honest performance brings good relatability to the character.

Teena Sravya is adorable with cute expressions and gives out a natural performance as Hema. The way she expresses with her eyes is appreciable.

Narendra Ravi shines throughout the movie as Anand. He makes comedy look natural and handles emotional scenes with equal ease.

Yamini is pretty decent in her part as the girl who wants to marry Anand.

Rohan Roy is equally funny in his role as the kid who works in the hero’s studio. His funny one-liners at a few places are hilarious.

Vinay, Prabhavati, Madhavi Prasad, Jogarao, & all others are fine in their limited parts.

What about off-screen talents?

The story by Rahul Srinivas is quite simple, with a thin plot line that revolves around a pre-wedding shoot video. But what’s impressive is the situational humour that is written around it. The screenplay is smartly written with good turns at regular intervals and a decent conflict. There are a few flat scenes and repetitive portions in the middle, but they do not completely break the flow of the film. The ending will surely leave you with a smile.

Director Rahul Srinivas does a passable job. His presentation looks more like a short film and less like a feature film. His narration is good, but it also could’ve been a bit better in the middle portions. The way he handled the situational humour and the emotions towards the end is appreciable. The casting is another aspect where he should’ve taken more care.

The dialogues could’ve been a lot better. There are good situations in the film that needed witty lines to enhance the impact of the humour. But it isn’t tapped to its fullest.

The songs by Suresh Bobilli never leave an impact. The tunes are too generic. The background score, too, is good in parts and pretty ordinary in a few other places.

The cinematography by K Soma Sekhar highlights the village’s rustic charm through a natural, earthy visual tone.

The editing by Naresh Adupa lacks sharpness and could have been more refined. The flat scenes and repetitive portions needed trimming.

The production values by 7 PM Productions & Puppet Show Productions are adequate.

What’s Hot?

* Thiruveer’s Performance
* Teena Sravya’s Performance
* Rohan & Narendra Ravi’s Comedy Portions
* Relatable Emotions & Good Conflict Point
* Funny Twists At Regular Intervals
* Neat Cinematography

What’s Not?

* Thin Plot
* Lead Pair Love Track
* Forgettable Songs
* Uneven Use Of Local Slang
* Casting Of A Few Key Characters
* Few Flat Scenes In The Middle Portions

Verdict: Overall, The Great Pre Wedding Show is a simple yet sweet comedy film with clean comedy and a heart-warming ending. Though the film runs on a thin plot line and has a few flat portions here & there, the fun factor, along with the small twists, make it a decent watch.
