TDP leader Payyavula Keshav demanded the central government to react to the YCP government’s decision to change the capital. He questioned why the BJP did not oppose the transfer of Rayalaseema to the High Court.
Speaking to the media from the TDP office in Mangalagiri, Payyavula Keshav said: The people of AP are hoping that the state will benefit from the alliance between Jan Sena and BJP. Only BJP can do justice in Andhra Pradesh. Andries wants to know about the JSP and BJP’s stance on the 3 Capital proposal. It is too early to predict what the impact of this new alliance will be.
Keshav quoted YCP leaders’ statement as saying that they were informing the Center before implementing crucial decisions. He was surprised that YCP had already told the leaders of Delhi about the capital changes. AP Capital case is a small issue for BJP. The Baghwa party will have to play the role of a big brother to resolve the issue here. We have seen what the Center is capable of doing in states like Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, and Karnataka. The BJP’s prospects in AP depend on its stance on capital change, ‘says senior TDP leaders.
Whether the alliance between Jan Sena and BJP is successful or not depends only on the coordination between the leaders and the cadre at the ground level. For now, YCP and TDP look strong enough to create scope for the third alternative.
