Chevella Ravi Kumar popularly known as Bithiri Sathi bid adieu to the most popular media channel in Two Telugu states – TV9. His collaboration with Big Boss fame Siva Jyothi in ‘Teenmar’ is a huge hit that garnered the highest TRP ratings for V6 Channel in its time.
Now, his ’iSmart News’ is the most popular program of him that has consistently been bringing ratings for the TV9. He has been essaying the role of Sathi in TV9’s ‘Ismart News’ but the ego tussle between the management and Sathi made his part his ways with this TV channel.
It began when Sathi, without informing the editorial team had included footage of his father on the eve of Fathers’ day which obviously irked the management. When they demanded an explanation form Sathi in the form of a letter his sentimental feelings on his family got the better of him as he refused to write the letter.
TV9 asked him to mention the reason why he took an independent decision of using his family in the TV program without anyone’s consent. However, Sathi who is a very sensitive person by heart, which we witnessed in many TV Shows and has some deep emotional feelings for his family members got deeply hurt with TV9 demanding an explanation.
So, eventually, he said its time to quit and left along with another team member. Can TV9 cope with his departure?
