The North America Seemandhra Association (NASAA) organized a cricket match in Seattle to promote blind cricket in the United States, featuring the India National Blind Cricket Team against the Seattle Thunderbolts. T.G. Vishwa Prasad, CEO of People Tech Group, was the chief guest at the event.
Mahantesh, the President of the Blind Cricket Board, expressed his gratitude for Vishwa Prasad’s warm hospitality during the event. Vishwa Prasad emphasized the need to strive for the inclusion of blind cricket in the Paralympics. Phani Chitneni, the head of the Thunderbolts, highlighted that cricket is not merely a sport but a deep-rooted emotion for many Indians.
The event was attended by notable figures, including Prakash Gupta, the Consulate General of India, Washington Senator Derrick, House Representative Vandana Slater, and several community leaders such as Bhaskar Gangipamula, Ram Paluri, Vikram Garlapati, Ravinder Reddy Sadhu, Jaipal Reddy, Ravindra Guram, Subba Rao Kalagara, Subbu Kandakattu, Venkat Chilakala, Ashok Galla, Nanda Gajula, Venkat Kanumuri, and Satish Gottumukkala, among others.
Volunteers who contributed to the event included individuals like Sunkari Sriram, Venkatesh Attipalli, Ram Uggirala, Rakesh Konada, Vinod Parna, Rajasekhar Chowdary, Srikanth Mogarala, Soma Jagadish, Janardhan Chekka, Sashi Yajju, and Maruthi Ekkali, among others.
