Telusu kada is one of the anticipated movie for this Diwali season. Telusu kada is new age love story. The film stars Siddu, Raashii Khanna , Sri Nidhi in main leads, supported by Harsha chemudu. Directed by Neeraja Kona, Music composed by SS Thaman, cinematography handled by Gnanashekar. The movie is produced under people media factory.

Story:

Varun (Siddu) is a chef, single, orphaned, and living with his friend Harsha (Harsha Chemudu). Through a marriage proposal arranged by Harsha, Varun meets (Raashii Khanna), an architect. The two fall in love and get married.

Their happy life hits a pause when they discover they can’t conceive a child and decide to opt for surrogacy. Enters (Srinidhi Shetty), who becomes a key turning point in their lives.
Who is she? What connects her to Varun’s past? And how does this decision impact their marriage forms the rest of the story.

On Screen Performances:

Siddu is in his elements, stylish, expressive, and emotionally steady. His wit, dialogue delivery, and screen presence make the film engaging. His dance moves in Sogasu Chooda Tarama stands out, filled with grace and energy.

Raashi performs well, especially in the first half where her character is strong and composed. In the latter part, her role feels underwritten, which affects her impact.
Srinidhi shines in her portions, portraying a modern yet emotional side effectively.

Harsha Chemudu provides consistent laughter with his timing and expressions. His rapport with Siddu works beautifully, adding natural humor to emotional moments.

Supporting roles from Sanjay, Annapurnamma, and others are apt.

Technical Aspects:

Debutant director Neeraja Kona picks a refreshing and mature concept , blending love, ego, and modern relationships. The first half is engaging, with solid character setups and neatly written dialogues.

Things were good till pre-interval. Once the twist is revealed before interval, all the scenes justifying that twist — though interesting — feel a little laggy. The lag is evident even with the non-linear narration, but overall it’s still a good first half.

Post-interval, the film struggles to find direction — characters lose clarity, and dialogues become confusing.

For instance:
1.Varun reveals his past to one heroine openly, but later hides facts citing “privacy” — a contradiction that weakens the intent.
2.Emotional explanations feel forced rather than organic.
3.The climax looks abruptly edited and ends without proper closure.

Despite these flaws, Neeraja shows real spark in her emotional writing during the first half.

Thaman’s music is superb — he elevates several scenes with his background score. Sogasu Chooda Tarama is a treat both musically and visually.

Cinematography by Gnanashekar is aesthetically pleasing — even in confined hospital or home settings, he maintains freshness.

Editing by Naveen is okay, though the film could’ve benefited from trimming a few repetitive and slow-motion sequences.

Production values from People Media Factory remain rich and consistent.

Highlights:
1.Fresh and emotional plot
2.Siddu’s performance and swag
3.Harsha’s comedy
4.Thaman’s music and strong visuals

Drawbacks:
1.Lack of clarity and conviction in writing
2.Repetitive scenes and slow pacing
3.Abrupt, incomplete climax

Verdict:

Telusu Kada was one of the most anticipated Diwali releases, backed by strong names and a promising premise. While it shines in parts , especially with Siddu’s performance, humor, and technical finesse, the second half suffers from unclear writing and a loss of focus.
A beautiful idea that deserved tighter execution. An okay one-time watch if you enjoy Siddu’s charm, Harsha’s humor, and Thaman’s music.
