The local authorities in the United States have started to come down heavily on the international student community. They are strictly enforcing the regulation of not permitting international students to do part time gigs outside the campus.

In this context, something very tragic has happened with a Telugu student in the United States.

The student is named Sai Kumar Reddy and he has reportedly been staying in New York after moving from India. However, he has been facing extensive years about deportation and subsequent restraints on financial streams.

Adding to that, there has been a report going around that his passport was confiscated by the local authorities in the United States. This reportedly pushed him into depression and he took extreme measures.

Sai Kumar Reddy committed suicide recently out of fear of deportation, and the legal repercussions that follow.

However, this is just a new speculation that is in circulation on social media and a couple of established media outlets have published the same. There is no confirmation on this matter yet.
