Tamil superstar Vijay’s GOAT is set for release on the 5th of this month and the makers have opted for a low key promotional campaign.
Coming to the box office prospects, the film is releasing with a reasonably easy target in terms of theatrical valuation.
As per the latest reports, the Telugu theatrical rights of GOAT are sold for Rs 12 crores and Mythri Movie Makers have acquired the same.
Mythri have paid a reasonable amount for the film and this is easily achievable if the word of mouth is positive from the word go. Notably, Leo collected over Rs 15 crore in the Telugu states and going by this number, it shouldn’t be too hard for GOAT to reach the 12 crore target.
The openings will be dull which is due to the low key promotions and hence a lot will depend on the word of mouth.
