Unlike the Ex Governor of Telugu states, ESL Narasimhan, who mostly remained as a Ceremonial Governor, the new governor Tamilisai Soundararajan has been involving in the issues that are going on, in the Telangana government.
In view of the viral fevers in the state, the lady Governor already called for a review of the health and medical department. She also asked the concerned officials to provide her, all the details of deaths caused by such viral fevers.
Reportedly, even Home Minister Mahmood Ali has asked his officials to update him on the affairs of the department, anticipating that the Governor might ask him for the details. Apart from the viral fevers, the Governor also raised the issue of the deaths of intermediate students, for the alleged irregularities in the valuation of answer sheets.

When BJP replaced Narasimhan with Tamilisai, several anticipated that the Centre would target the TRS government, with the inputs given by the Governor and thus get a political mileage in Telangana. As expected, Tamilisai is strictly going against the state government by reviewing the issues that took place in the state. She will send the report to the Centre after completing such reviews.
