Every person living in the country, especially in the state of Telangana, and more specifically in Hyderabad, knows that the government of Telangana is not doing much to control the situation of Coronavirus in the state.
The High Court of Telangana has intervened several times now, and recently ordered the government to ramp up testing and to release health bulletins every day to keep the people of the state informed. The court also ordered the government to present the court with the details of isolation beds and plans of containment in the city. The High Court so much so said that severe actions will be taken against the concerned officials if the reports aren’t submitted on time.
Now, the High Court has once again responded on the way the government continues to deal with the problem, and questioned why it shouldn’t take severe action against the concerned officials, now that they haven’t provided the court with proper information.
The High Court also condemned the government’s actions in falsely propagating that the court is satisfied with the way the government has been working. The High Court questioned the government of Telangana why it isn’t conducting enough tests when states like Delhi and Andhra Pradesh are managing to conduct more than 20,000 cases in a single day.
The Telangana High Court also accused the concerned officials of fabricating the information that has been provided to the court, and of hiding the real numbers. The High Court said that the government is literally sleeping with regards to controlling the situation of Coronavirus and that it is cheating the people of the state by not making any kind of information public.
