It was a big day for the members of Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) as Telangana chief minister and BRS supremo K Chandrasekhar Rao announced the names of candidates, who will compete in the upcoming State Assembly elections on behalf of his party.
While releasing the complete list of candidates, Mr Rao said that he will contest from Kamareddy and Gajwel constituencies, whereas State’s IT minister KTR will contest from the Sircilla constituency.
Finance Minister Thanneeru Harish Rao will be entering the election battle from the Siddipet constituency while Education Minister Patlolla Sabitha Indra Reddy is representing the Maheshwaram constituency. However, the candidates for Jangaon, Goshamahal, Narsapur and Nampally were not announced yet. The CM changed the members in 9 Assembly constituencies.
Mr Rao also said that the BRS manifesto will be released on October 16 in Warangal.
