Venu Yeldandi, a comedian who transitioned into directing, has garnered widespread acclaim for his film Balagam, which explored contemporary relationships and emotions. Following this success, he was given the chance to direct a new project titled Yellamma, with producer Dil Raju announcing Nani as the initial lead.
However, developments took an unexpected turn when Nani withdrew from the film for unspecified reasons. Subsequently, Nithiin was considered as his replacement.
The latest reports suggest that Teja Sajja, known for his role in HanuMan, will now take on the lead role in Yellamma. Venu Yeldandi is said to have successfully convinced Teja Sajja with a brief narration of the story, and the young actor is believed to be on board for the project.
While an official announcement is still pending, sources indicate that Teja Sajja’s involvement is confirmed, and Dil Raju is expected to make an announcement soon.
