Team India registered an emphatic victory against the host nation, England in the third test match which was played at the Kennington Oval, London.
India won the game by 157 runs took a 2-1 lead in the series.
A well-composed ton from Rohit Sharma in the third inning helped India post a competitive score of 466. England came out to bat in the fourth innings with a target of 368 runs.
On the fifth and final day of the match, India needed 10 wickets to win the game and visitors managed to do so, all thanks to splendid spells of attacking bowling from Bumrah, Shardul Thakur, and Jageja.
India now go with a 2-1 advantage to the fourth and final test match of the series. England need to win this game to tie the series. Else, India would continue its dominance in the test format with another series victory in England.
