A video featuring senior YSRCP leaders like Pilli Subhash Chandrabose and others has been going viral on social media pages and has become a problem for the YSRCP, due to the content in the video. In this video, it can be seen that the senior members of the YSRCP themselves believe that Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has given up on the situation of coronavirus in Andhra Pradesh.
On the other hand, Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy’s recent statements, asking Chandrababu Naidu to talk to various vaccine companies and make sure that AP gets enough vaccines, is also working against the YSRCP.
Both these incidents have now given the members of the Telugu Desam Party the exact kind of fuel they needed. They have started to question the YSRCP government’s efficiency in the handling of the current situation, and are asking the government to hand over the responsibility to Naidu, in case they are not able to handle the situation at all.
TDP members are saying that Chandrababu would have long ago made sure that the spreading of the virus was put in check in the state, by either fighting with the centre, or by negotiating with vaccine manufacturing companies. With no one doubting the administrative skills of Naidu, even the people of Andhra Pradesh are now thinking from the angle of Naidu being the CM of the state during a crisis like this, and how different things would have been in that case.
With the people of the state also joining in on this discussion, members of the TDP are going on to say that the state has been infected by the YSRCP virus and that the best way to combat it is the Nara vaccine. The YSRCP leaders have started to say that Chandrababu’s attitude is a lot worse than Coronavirus, in their defence.
