Telugu Desam Party leader and ex-minister, Devineni Uma is currently absconding, following a morphed video that he released of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.
A person named Narayana Reddy, belonging to Kurnool, registered a complaint against Devineni Uma. A case was filed based on that complaint, on the 10th of this month. On the 15th, Devineni was asked to appear in front of the CID, in Kurnool, regarding the investigation of the case. However, he failed to do that.
Uma was once again asked to appear for the investigation on the 19th, which he once again failed to do. Following that, the CID had gone to Devineni’s house, and it has been said that his phone has been switched off for the past two days.
Upon inquiring his family members, it has come to light that Devineni Uma left his house 2 days ago, and that no one is aware of his location.
