What is Bharatiya Janata Party to the AP people? Most of the people in Andhra Pradesh has a sentiment that the party who gets the BJP supporter either directly or indirectly will have higher chances than others to win the polls. Is this phenomenon a real fact or the AP people fell for a trap?
Well, in 2014, when TDP, BJP formed an alliance and Janasena was with them, YSRCP blamed Telugu Desam Party for joining hands with BJP. In a most dramatic way, During the 2019 elections pre-poll period, Naidu left BJP as he has no other option left and alleged that YSRCP has been in contact with Modi and the center is helping the YCP to grab the power.
Though Jagan didn’t express his favoritism to BJP officially, all his actions implied that there is something going between him and BJP. He even turned a blind eye on the special status issue. When things go wrong, he may use it as a political factor in the future but as of now YCP leaders clarified that they have no intentions to fight with center on this issue and advised the AP people not to rest hopes on the special status.
So, it is clear that the BJP and Special status issues are nothing but some political weapons used by the two prominent parties in the state to gain an upper hand over the position. This is nothing but a blame game by spreading fake news about the alliance with BJP. Both YSRCP and BJP alleged each other about forming an alliance with BJP either directly and indirectly and spread fake news regarding it. Neither CBN nor Jagan has the guts to blame BJP directly for supporting a regional party as all they don’t have an actual point. All they have are baseless allegations, pointless arguments, and logic-less statements.
Then there is Pawan Kalyan on the other side who neither blamed any of the two parties nor made false allegations about their affair with the Centre. He has been the only person who hasn’t indulged in cheap politics and formed an alliance with BJP officially. Even in 2014, he supported TDP-BJP officially. He is very far from these opportunistic politics that are being indulged by the two major political parties in the state and never did spread fake news using the name of the center. So, BJP offered an alliance with the party which has only 1 Assembly seat.
