Telugu Desam Party chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu famously said that he would never step into the Andhra Pradesh assembly until he becomes the Chief Minsiter of the state if the people bless him so. He made this announcement, following the humiliation he faced in the assembly, by the YSRCP government, whose MLAs made derogatory statements on Chandrababu and his wife, Nara Bhuvaneshwari.
Following his announcement, the rest of the TDP MLAs also announced that they wouldn’t be attending the assembly sessions either, out of respect for their leader. The new AP assembly session is about to begin very soon, and the TDP MLAs are said to be interested in attending the assembly session, as the government is all set to introduce its budget. The TDP MLAs are said to be interested in pointing out the flaws of the government, and the financial crisis that it drove the state into. They are also said to be hoping to oppose the renewed 3 capitals bill in the assembly.
On the other hand, some of the members are said to be of the opinion that it would be of no use, as the speaker wouldn’t let them speak, and neither would the YSRCP members heed their words. All of these opinions are said to have been taken to the notice of Chandrababu, who is currently considering all the aspects and is expected to take a decision very soon.
