For the past 3-5 years, the advent of social media is influencing many lives either directly or indirectly. Especially in politics, it is playing a major role to influence the voters at the ground level more efficiently than any other tool that was emerged over decades. Now the AP state politics are being influenced by this social media and the party which is using it to the fullest is getting more advantage when compared to others.
Telugu Desam Party is said to be the one party that recognized the importance of Social media much earlier and though Janasena is a latecomer in this arena, they enjoy a huge following when compared to YSRCP and BJP. Now, all of sudden, as a result, fo the massive turn around of the political events in the state, a war is being happened in between TDP social media and BJP social media.
It is understandable that TDP social media is showing its rage on AP BJP president Somu Veerraju. However, the same unit did not target him when Lakshmi Narayana was the BJP president. But now they are waging a big war on Veerraju. Of course, YCP social media cracked down on Kanna Lakshminarayana when he was the AP BJP president.
Kanna is severely accused of doing politics in favor of the TDP. Still, some people believe that with this, the BJP supremacy has decided to remove Kanna from the office. Now, the BJP social media units have become active all of sudden to defend their president. They are showing the right spirit at the right time in this unofficial and backlight battle where Somu is just trying to make the TDP leaders relinquish their loyalties by excreting pressure on them day after day.
It has been amazing to see the political leaders depending greatly on social media as they recognized its importance than any other medium in these quarantine lives and busy scheduled ages.
