During the 2014 elections, TDP announced Loan Waiver and it became one of the major reasons for the party to form the government then. Even though the YSRCP Chief Jagan Mohan Reddy strictly said that it is impossible to implement it, Chandrababu Naidu went ahead promising to waive off the loans under any circumstances.
After forming the government, Naidu removed a few of the people, out of the list, considering them as ineligible for Loan Waiver. But he also promised them to waive off their loans in five installments in five years.
While Naidu could only waive off the loans in three installments in three years, he asked the new government YSRCP, to clear off the remaining two installments. But Jagan, who is strictly against the loan waiver, right from the beginning, has called off the scheme and replaced it with “Rythu Bharosa”, another new scheme.

Now the question is that, who is going to face the heat of the farmers? Is it TDP for failing to waive off the promised loans? Or YSRCP, who called off the scheme?
If at all Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, succeeds in implementing Ryhthu Bharosa well, without any obstacles, then he may escape the heat of farmers, transferring all the hatred of the farmers towards TDP. Otherwise, both the major parties of AP, will have to face the curse of farmers and thus pave way for the third alternative parties like BJP and Janasena, waiting to grab a chance.
