It is clear that AP people outrightly rejected BJP and the same will be continued in all the further elections, if at all the national party continues to ignore special category status issue.
After three Rajya Sabha MPs and a few other leaders like Ambika Krishna from TDP have joined in BJP, it is widely rumored that the major percentage of the 23 TDP MLAs who won in the recent elections, are keen to quit the party, as they are anticipating no future for the Naidu’s party in the state.

The simple logic here is, MLAs are the leaders who are directly elected by the public. So the 23 MLAs, who won from TDP have public support in the state. All such public rejected BJP and voted for them. If at all, the MLAs from TDP jump into the BJP, they would obviously lose the public support, as AP people are not at all in a mood to encourage the national party in the state.
So it would be better, if the leaders who attained victory with the public support, stay back in TDP or chose another regional party like Janasena, which has a considerable voting share in the state. Otherwise, it may be a severe jolt on the political careers of those respective leaders.
