It is a commonly known fact that the TDP has always tried to do its best to the BC community, and that the BC community has also always supported the TDP from its very inception. Reiterating this sentiment once again, TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu has chosen people from the BC Community mostly, as incharges of all the constituencies in the state.
This announcement from TDP was made not even two days ago, and now, the YSRCP has also made a very similar announcement. Members of the TDP are naturally crediting themselves, and are even saying that the Jagan government got the biggest shock after the announcement, because of which they too rushed to announce the maximum number of positions to the BC community.
The YSRCP has suddenly announced 56 Corporations for 139 Castes, and appointed a Chairman for each of those corporations. Many of these posts have been given to the BC community, and nearly half of them have been allotted to women. The TDP is calling out the hypocrisy of the YSRCP in this matter, stating that it is the same government that was the least bit bothered about the BC community for the past 16 months. They are even questioning the sudden interest of the government in the community, and the real reason behind it.
A lot of the votes from the BC community were diverted towards the YSRCP in the 2019 general elections, which was one of the main reasons for the TDP to lose. With the TDP once again trying to get back their vote bank, teh YSRCP is said to have been alerted, and trying very hard to control the damage that’s been done, with this act.
