Former Minister, Telugu Desam Party firebrand leader Devineni Uma said that former Chief Minister N.T Rama Rao has started the Veligonda project to get irrational water resources for Prakasham, Nellore and Kadapa districts. He fired on the YSR Congress party that they are involving in corrupt practices during the completion of the project.
It is known that after the YSR Congress Party came into the ruling they alleged that TDP is involved in many illegal practices during their tenure. Now, it seems like this is the time of TDP as Uma questioned the reason behind giving the contract of the construction of Tunnel-2 the same agency that worked on Tunnel-1 in the Veligonda Project.
“The Boring Machinery is required for the constriction of tunnels but the YCP government didn’t invite any tenders for this purpose but are resuming works with Lanka Reddy under nominations,” alleged Devineni Uma. He also accused the YSRCP of J-Tax and said a man named Anil Reddy is collecting Rs.10 crores daily from the distilleries in Chennai.
Uma also said that for Jagan’s own company Saraswati power, mining lease was granted for 50 years which is a classic example of legal looting. “All the illegal mining activities are being happened in the presence of AP CM Jagan and Dwivedi,” added Uma. Now, as Uma is alleging the ruling party and their Chief with these most reasonable allegations, there is a need for the government to answer each and every one of these allegations at the earliest with proofs.
