The Telugu Desam Party was formed 40 years ago but didn’t have its own media house until now The TDP always depended upon other publications and media houses for its propaganda and support. Now, the TDP has finally opened its own newspaper, an e-paper, named Chaitanya Ratham. TDP chief and former AP CM N.Chandrababu Naidu formally launched the party’s e-paper on Monday at the TDP office in Mangalagiri.
Speaking about the same, Naidu said that the TDP never felt the necessity to have its own newspaper or media channel because it never wanted to indulge in biased politics, and wanted to be apolitical. He also took a dig at the YSRCP, and the channel and newspaper owned by the YSRCP, saying that the YSRCP is using this to spread false propaganda against the TDP and other political parties.
Naidu said that his e-paper would be used to expose the wrong-doings of the YSRCP, and create awareness among the people of the state, against the corrupt ways of the YSRCP government.
