It is known that the TDP has decided to contest in Huzur Nagar by-election. The officials announced Chava Kiranmai as the TDP candidate, who is going to contest in the by-polls. She is already given the B-Form by the TDP officials, just-a-while.
Only to jolt the TRS government, TDP, in the Telangana assembly elections held last year, joined hands with Congress and contested in the elections. But unfortunately, the tie has received a severe backlash from all the sides and TDP faced a miserable victory in the state. So not taking such kind of risks, TDP has come forward all alone now.
Telangana Chief Minister KCR earlier warned the Andhra parties to stay away from the elections of Telangana. Unwilling to take any risk from him, TDP did not contest in the Lok Sabha elections in the state.

But several TDP activists working for the party’s growth in Telangana, were disappointed with the decision. Upon the repeated requests of such activists, TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu has decided to concentrate on strengthening the party in Telangana. As Huzur Nagar is almost on the AP borders, Naidu is anticipating that TDP has a good chances of victory.
It is clearly evident that the major fight in Huzur Nagar is expected to take place between Congress and TRS. At this point of time, TDP entering the battle, is nothing but proving to the public, one more time, that the party has lost its base in Telangana.
