Despite hands-full with political commitments, Janasenani Pawan Kalyan is making a comeback to the silver screen by reprising Big B Amitabh Bachchan’s role in the Telugu remake of Pink. Just two days back, the makers have unveiled Pawan Kalyan’s first look and title. Titled Vakeel Saab, the first look poster features Pawan Kalyan in the frame, but none of the female characters in the movie are seen. Vakeel Saab’s first look created a trend within just 24 hours of its release and it shattered the records on Twitter. The film’s first look is ‘Most retweeted first look in TFI’ (25.3k) and also achieved ‘Highest number of title tag tweets in India’ (3.5M).
Directed by MCA fame Venu Sriram, the shooting of Pink remake has kicked off a couple of weeks ago in Hyderabad. As per our exclusive reports, the film’s shoot has been progressing at a rapid pace and it will be continued for two more days at Annapurna studios 7 acres in a specially erected court set. After two days, the film’s unit will take a short break. After completion of the small break, the film’s shooting will be continued at Bowenpally. We’ve also learned that almost 70% of the shoot has been completed already and just 15 days shooting part is left.
The movie is being produced by Dil Raju’s Sri Venkateswara Creations and Boney Kapoor. Vakeel Saab stars Nivetha Thomas, Anjali and Ananya Nagalla reprising the roles of Taapsee Pannu, Kriti Kulhari and Andrea Tariang from the original Hindi film. The film’s music is composed by SS Thaman.
