The Hindi remake of Chatrapathi was launched last week and it is set to start rolling very soon. The makers have started roping in the lead actors for the action thriller.
If reports are to be believed, the makers of Chatrapathi remake have signed Tamil actress Regina Cassandra for the female lead role in the film.
Regina will be reprising the role played by Shriya Saran in the original. She has signed the dotted line already and will be joining the sets very soon. An official announcement on the same will be made shortly.
VV Vinayak will be directing Chatrapathi remake and Pen Studios are bankrolling it. The project will be mounted on a big scale and more details about the cast and crew will be out soon.
