Sandalwood movie ‘Love Mocktail’ released in January 2020, garnered huge collections at the box office nearly more than double of its production cost. After the massive success of this film, makers from Tollywood are eyeing for its remake in Telugu.
Gurthunda Seethakalam’ will have emerging talented actor Satyadev and milky beauty Tamannah playing the lead roles. The romantic drama is directed by Nagasekhar and bankrolled by Nagasekhar and Bhavani Ravi under Nagasekhar Movies banner.
As per the recent reports, it is learnt that due to budget issues the makers have shelved the film. Many films in the most recent times have been on a back burner either due to covid pandemic or budget issues. The untimely halts could possibly be because of the rise in the budget as a consequence of pandemic. Post that, situations have changed drastically and it is becoming difficult to employ the technicians and choose right low budget sets & locations. Hence this could have risen the burden as per our inside sources.
Reportedly the audio rights of the film were owned by a leading music label, Anand Audio for a decent Rs.75 lakh considering the market value of hero Satyadev. Kala Bhairava is providing the music and Satya is cranking the camera for this film.
