After a massive hit like Rangasthalam, director Sukumar is expected to come up with a handful of films. But shockingly, he is yet to take a film to the sets. But the director, meanwhile, is making cameos in other films.
Recently, Sukumar was seen in a special cameo in Nani’s Gang Leader movie. He was seen buying the novel written by Pencil Parthasarathy (Nani) in the film. Adding to it, the Arya director is also playing another cameo in Valmiki, which is yet to hit the screens next week.
On the other side, RX100 director Ajay Bhupathi, who earlier planned to pick Raviteja for his next, gave up the idea for some unknown reasons and is planning to make his acting debut as the male lead in his directorial.
Even VV Vinayak, who lost his form as a director, is making his acting debut through film, that is being produced by Dil Raju. The Tagore director made cameos in several films in the past. But it is for the first time, he is playing the lead role. Even Rajamouli is much fascinated about acting and made few cameos. But the Baahubali director never took it seriously.

Having seen the trend, it seems, all the talented directors are going to shift their interest towards acting in the coming days. In that case, Tollywood may soon find it tough to get the full time directors who is completely focused on making the films. Isn’t it.
