Kollywood star Suriya, who was last seen in ET, has now collaborated with director Bala for his next film, tentatively titled #Suriya41. This movie will mark the third collaboration between the actor and the National Award-winning director in 18 years, after Nandha and Pithamagan.
#Suriya41 was launched today with a pooja ceremony at Kanyakumari. The Jai Bhim actor also took to his Twitter handle to share his excitement about the film, and wrote, “Been waiting for #DirBala na my mentor to say Action!!! …After 18 years, it’s happiness today…! This moment… we need all your wishes! #Suriya41”.
A few pictures from the shooting spot have been shared by fans on social media. The movie sees Krithi Shetty as the female lead. GV Prakash Kumar has been roped in as the composer while Balasubramaniam is handling the camera. Buzz is that Suriya will play a dual role in #Suriya41.
