Superstar Rajinikanth’s daughter Aishwarya Rajinikanth recently returned to directing after a long wait of 9 years. Her debut film was ‘3’, which starred Dhanush and Shruti Haasan in 2012. Later, she directed a crime comedy called “Vai Raja Vai” in 2014.
After 9 long years, she directed Lal Salaam. However, the film received negative reviews and performed poorly at the box office. The movie witnessed steep drop on the day 1 itself. While it didn’t do well in Tamil Nadu, the situation was even worse in the Telugu states. Some screenings were canceled over the weekend.
After huge success of Jailer, Rajinikanth appeared in this movie which shocked his fans. A similar situation occurred with Rajinikanth’s other daughter, Soundarya Rajinikanth, when her movie “Kochadaiiyaan” also failed both commercially and critically.
Fans are now urging Rajinikanth to support his daughters in ways other than acting in their films. Despite of many other talented directors are waiting to deliver big for the Superstar, his daughters let him down, opine his fans.
