Sundeep Kishan was last seen in A1 Express which is a remake of Tamil film Natpe Thunai. The film garnered a lukewarm response from the audience and put up okayish numbers at the box office.
The young hero is currently busy with Gully Rowdy which is in final leg of shoot.
As said by our source close to the movie unit, Gully Rowdy’s plot is heavily inspired from Vijay Sethupathi’s super hit film Naanum Rowdy Dhaan.
Gully Boy is more or less a freehand remake of the Vijay Sethupathi starrer. The makers are not promoting the film as a remake though and the reason behind the same is unknown for now.
Meanwhile, the makers of Gully Rowdy announced that the teaser of the film will be launched by Vijay Deverakonda on 19th April. The teaser should give a glimpse of the film’s plot.
The Sundeep Kishan starrer is directed by G Nageswara Reddy and produced by MVV Sathyanarayana.
