Renowned Tamil actor, Vijay Sethupathi was initially roped in for a key role in Allu Arjun’s ‘Pushpa’. But he walked out of the project, citing clash of dates as the reason. Ever since, Sukumar is in search of the right actor who can carry the pivotal role effectively.
If the latest buzz is anything to go by, Sukumar wants to replace Vijay Sethupathi with veteran actor Madhavan.
The makers of Pushpa will be initiating talks with Madhavan very soon. Sukumar will be narrating the story to Madhavan in a week or so and the latter will be taking a decision accordingly.
Madhavan will next be seen in Anushka’s ‘Nishabdham’ which will be premiering on Amazon Prime Video on October 2nd.
Meanwhile, Pushpa unit is planning to resume shoot in the month of November. Allu Arjun is undergoing a makeover for his role. Rashmika Mandanna will be seen as his love interest.
