After TDP faced a humiliating defeat in the recent Assembly elections of Andhra Pradesh, anticipating no future for the party, Sujana Chowdary, CM Ramesh, TG Venkatesh, along with several other leaders, left TDP and joined in BJP.
Even after quitting TDP, a few of the YSRCP leaders like Vijaysai Reddy alleged that it is TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu, who sent them into BJP, to impress Prime Minister Narendra Modi and thus get back his support, which Naidu lost during the elections. Now, witnessing a few of the situations, it seems, one cannot deny the statements of the YSRCP leaders.
Even after coming out of TDP, Sujana Chowdary is still following the official Twitter accounts of TDP and Chandrababu Naidu, along with the BJP. This may not indicate that Sujana is still is in favor of TDP, but it can be clarified that he is not definitely against Naidu and his party.
Whenever a politician changes a party, it is quite common to completely remove the stains of the old party. But Sujana carrying the weight of TDP, even after quitting the party, is sending wrong signals to the opposition parties, who could use them as weapons to shot back at Telugu Desam.
