It is widely rumored that Sujana Chowdary shifted his loyalties from TDP to BJP, only to escape from the cases against him. Several times, the YSRCP leaders came up with the similar comments.
Especially Botsa Satyanarayana went against Sujana. The AP minister said that in TDP’s regime, Sujana resorted to severe corruption and also owned several lands in the Amaravati Capital region illegally.
Responding to such allegations, Sujana challenged Botsa to prove it. He further added that he openly challenged the opposite party leaders, to prove the allegations against him, but no one came forward with any kind of proofs.

After TDP lost power in the recent elections, Sujana jumped into BJP. But reportedly, it is Telugu Desam Chief Chandrababu Naidu, who sent him into BJP. YSRCP leaders like Vijaysai Reddy criticized Naidu for the same reason. But following Sujana, a few other leaders from TDP joined in BJP. It was then TDP faced a major jolt.
Now, Sujana Chowdary saying that he has no cases against him is expected to encourage more leaders of TDP, to join in BJP, thinking that the Lotus party is wiping out all the cases, against the leaders, who are willing to join the party.
