Following the All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS) ruling out any murder angle in Sushant Singh Rajput‘s demise, the late actor’s family lawyer, Vikas Singh condemned their statement. The lawyer along with family who are agitated by the findings of AIIMS, now demands the Special Investigating Team (SIT) of Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to form a new forensic team for their investigation.
Singh had already labelled the reports as “not conclusive” for brushing aside the murder theory and exclaimed that the agency need to treat SSR’s death as a case of murder and continue the investigation on high priority.
After re-examining SSR’s post-mortem report, a senior forensic-medicine specialist at Delhi’s All India Institute of Medical Sciences has concluded on tape that their panel found no discrepancies in the autopsy conducted by Mumbai’s Cooper hospital.
Earlier speaking based on the AIIMS reports, the Mumbai Police commissioner Param Bir Singh asserted that they stood vindicated. He said some people having “vested interest” criticized Maharashtra police’s probe and jumped to conclusions without having any knowledge about the case.
