Starring Ram Charan and Jr NTR in the lead roles, SS Rajamouli’s directorial RRR has set the cash registers ringing across the world. The movie, which hit the screens on March 25, has now entered Rs 500 Crore club in just 3 days.
The periodic action drama earned $60 Million in just three days, surpassing other major grosser like The Batman and The Lost City.
As per reports, the magnum opus had made Rs 217 crore worldwide on its opening day and became India’s biggest-ever opener by overtaking ‘Baahubali 2’.
Set in pre-independence India, ‘RRR’ is based on the lives of celebrated freedom fighters, Komaram Bheem and Alluri Seetharama Raju, portrayed by Jr. NTR and Ram Charan. The movie also stars Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn in key roles.
