India’s biggest filmmaker Rajamouli has made the nation proud at the New York Film Critics Circle Award presentation ceremony that happened today.

Rajamouli received the best director award at the ceremony that was held in New York earlier today. He sported a traditional outfit for the event.

Rajamouli thanked his lead stars Ram Charan and NTR for their astounding efforts and also the principle care that worked round the clock to make the mighty dream of RRR possible.

Rajamouli also thanked his distributors for their best efforts. He seemed visibly elated about receiving the prestigious honour that no other Indian filmmaker had ever been entitled to.

Rajamouli also remembered how he used to watch English films in awe in cinema halls. And now his latest film RRR is getting wild reception in the West. The arc has been incredible.

Rajamouli will next be working with Mahesh Babu for a globetrotting action adventure. This project will commence the shoot in the due course.
